Investigation of the Villisca Axe Murder House

The house had been reset back to 1912.  The furnishings represent a home of that time.  The was no plumbing or electricity.  Starting in 1994 All electrical and plumbing fixtures were removed.

As soon as we entered the house our KII meters lit up to yellow which is the 3rd light between 2.5 and 10 milliGauss.  There were two KIIs and they were both consistant throughout our stay.  They stayed at that level most of the time with some periods of going to the first green, which is a normal non-electromagnetic level.

At one time early on, a red rubber ball was rolled across the living room floor.  The floor did not appear level, but the ball rolled straight across the floor, did a U turn and came back towards the fall of the floor, rounded and returned to the person who rolled it.

Our EMF detectors went off several times with a rapid and persistant "beeping".  One very active time was 11:50 PM and it lasted until approximatley 12:40 AM.  At times we left the EMF detector up stairs and would leave the house to come back hearing it beeping again rapidly.  One time I spoke down stairs and the beeping then stopped. We asked many questions and the EMF responded.  Especially when certain names of the victims were mentioned.  There were times when the detector went off in the parents room, fell silent, but started up again at full strength in the children's bedroom.  One of the most active EMF responses was in the children's bedroom closet when it was left by itself with the door closed.  While the EMF detector was going off, we witnessed that same closet door close a few times on request.  We attempted many ways to debunk it.

One investigator felt a pinch in the attic.  I felt a touch on my leg twice that I earlier thought it was a natural feeling of clothing.  After thinking about it, I felt the touch so strongly I touched the area twice.  I may have to reconsider that one.

We still have hours of video, audio and photos to check out.

From my digital camera, we have some interesting orbs.  One orb photo I took was while the EMF was going off and we were asking questions.  One of our investigators would move the EMF up and down. At about 3-4 feet above the floor, the EMF would go silent.  It would start up again when he would move the detector back down from 3-4 feet above the floor all the way down.

Our investigation of the Villisca Axe Murder House was quite an experience we will never forget. I would highly recommend anyone interested in the paranormal to visit this historic home.

Are there really ghosts?

I'm not sure if I believe in the paranomal or not,  There are so many people that do believe and have had experiences.  I would like to hear about experiences people have had.  Perhaps some day I will have my own experience.
